The Amran Vest is one of our most established platforms and served for many years as the standard-issue vest across the Israeli Defense Forces (a newer updated version is also available today). Originally designed around the Israeli Hashmonai ballistic plate, the vest features a wider profile and dedicated armor pockets that ensure proper plate positioning and weight distribution.
The vest is fully adjustable through shoulder straps and side closures, allowing it to fit a wide range of users. It is also compatible with the LIFT System for improved load distribution and long-term comfort, while wide shoulder pads provide additional support under heavy loads.
The semi-modular front configuration includes three integrated magazine pouches, each capable of carrying three cross-stacked magazines (or up to nine individual magazines in total). Additional built-in compartments provide storage for a tourniquet, compact mission-essential equipment, and frequently accessed items. Dedicated retention points for optics and night vision equipment are also integrated into the design.
The system is supplied as a complete kit, including a 15-liter backpack that can be attached or removed independently while the vest remains worn. The backpack features a foldable helmet carrier, a quick-access external compartment, and a large main compartment with a dedicated hydration sleeve and hose-routing ports. Side MOLLE webbing allows additional carrying capacity through pouches and accessories.
